Think&Drink Prayers vs. Politics

We’ve all had deep discussions with our friends while we’re out at night—why not add a couple of experts to the mix and really take it up a notch? That’s the idea behind Think&Drink, a happy-hour series that sparks provocative conversations about big ideas. Religious, values, or political values, which one holds more power in America? Is it possible to honor both religious and political values at the same time? If so, how? In what situations do religious values trump political values and vice-versa? And the crucial question, what are the ideal values that we should instill in future generations? It is a pivotal time for us, not just as Americans, but as human beings to ask ourselves if we are willing to move from a consciousness based on survival (Us vs. Them) to one of compatibility.
