Looking for something fun and festive to do this Halloween? Wanting to participate in an exciting theatrical experience? Don't miss this year?s fall production with Shade Tree Players! Performing at Dakota Stage and the Frances Leach High Prairie Arts and Science Complex, children ages 7-18 can be part of an exciting, educational musical that will take on the town this Halloween! To creatively celebrate this special season and as part of the France Leach High Prairie Arts and Science Complex?s annual Haunting Arts & Spooktacular Science event, Shade Tree Players will be performing a brand new original musical, The Scarecrow, based on the tales of Washington Irving. Open to a wide range of area students, this charming, challenging production will prove a thrilling treat for both participants and spectators. Rehearsals: Mon. ? Thurs. 3:30-5:30pm, Sept. 22 (auditions) ? Oct. 23 and Fri. Oct. 24 (tech) Performances: Sat. Oct. 25 2pm (Dakota Stage,) Sun. Oct. 26 12:30 & 3: 30pm (High Prairie) Participant Requirements: 7-18 years old. No performance conflicts allowed. Rehearsal conflicts must be minimal and stated with program registration for consideration. Roles assigned at first rehearsal. Registration available online only.
