Join us in the Russell Reid Auditorium for a free concert by Tuba Four. Tuba Four is a brass quartet consisting of two of the brass family’s lowest-voiced instruments: the euphonium and tuba. They present audiences with a wide variety of musical styles from instruments usually only given a “support” role in a band or orchestra. Playing the euphonium are Marlin Peterson and Ryan Clark, and playing tuba are Doug Smith and David Candy. Hymns, marches, folk tunes, pop and patriotic favorites, and original works for the tuba-euphonium quartet are all a part of their repertoire. Sensational Sundays are free cultural programs that include a variety of lectures, concerts, movies, and tours.
