Sensational Sundays - Trail Physicians: The Medical Practices of Lewis & Clark

Join us for a presentation by Darian Kath, Park Ranger from Knife River Indian Villages National Historic Site, on "Trail Physicians: The Medical Practices of Lewis & Clark." In this program, Darian will delve into the medical practices of the early 19th Century and how it was used during the Lewis & Clark Expedition, including the use and interest in Native American medicines. On hand will be both antique and reproduction equipment and medicines. This program is part of the State Historical Society of North Dakota's Sensational Sundays series. Sensational Sundays are free cultural programs that include a variety of lectures, concerts, movies, and tours.
