Prairie Fire Entrepreneur Conference: Sparking Growth

The Prairie Fire Conference is the first Mid-West conference of its kind. Speakers will highlight the importance of fostering start-up communities and how to make them successful, the different roles government and business leaders hold in supporting our local communities and how to make the most of presented opportunities in the local area.

The Prairie Fire Conference aims to inspire innovation and support the nucleus of budding entrepreneurs and create and enhance broader regional and statewide involvement.

Daymond John of ABC’s Shark Tank will keynote speaker. Other speakers scheduled to appear at the conference include:

• Governor Jack Dalrymple (invited), Governor of North Dakota who will lead off the event keynoting breakfast with a presentation on his entrepreneurial life experiences.
• Brad Feld, Author of Startup Communities; Building An Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in your City will present through video conference. Attendees will also receive a copy of his book.
• Kristen Hadeed, Founder and Owner of Student Maid which employs more than 400 college students during its peak season will speak prior to lunch.
