Free Learning Series "Little Kids, Big World" Featured at North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum

Toddlers and preschoolers are invited to the free interactive learning series "Little Kids, Big World" at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum in Bismarck. These interactive 30-minute programs introduce children to North Dakota’s fascinating history. Children and their accompanying adult(s) are asked to meet at the west entrance information desk. March 6 Dinosaurs Are "Egg"cellent, 10 a.m. All dinosaurs hatched from eggs. Listen to a story about dinosaurs, and "hatch" your own dinosaur egg. March 9 It's Basketball Time, 10 and 11 a.m. Basketball is a huge part of North Dakota history. Enjoy a story about basketball and shoot some hoops. March 16 You're "Marvel"ous, 10 and 11 a.m. Superheroes are found all around us. View the new “Marvelocity: The Art of Alex Ross” exhibit, and imagine being a superhero. Design your own superhero mask to take home. March 27, You're "Marvel"ous, 10 a.m. Superheroes are found all around us. March 30 Animals Are "Egg"citing, 10 and 11 a.m. Many animals we see every day hatch from eggs. Learn about different animals that come from eggs, and decorate an egg to take with you.
