The free event fills the Frances Leach High Prairie Arts & Science Complex with engaging hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) activities for all ages in an open house format where guests can proceed through the activities at their own pace. The October 23rd event will feature space-themed activities, including the Geo Dome, a portable planetarium presented by UND and Valley City State University. Gateway to Science members will have early access beginning at 12:30 pm, and the event will open for the general public from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. All Family Day activities are FREE. The regular ND’s Gateway to Science exhibit gallery will also be open. Gallery admission for non-members is $6/person during this special event. The Free Family Day will be held at the Frances Leach High Prairie Arts & Science Complex, 1810 Schafer Street, Bismarck.
