Folk Tales for Fun

Dakota Stage Ltd. is proud to present Folk Tales for Fun, a charming and challenging storytelling show with an international flair! Conceived by a creative team of professional directors and designers, developed by students discovering voice, movement and character work through theatrical instruction and brought to life by a true collaboration of creativity and imagination, Folk Tales for Fun will delight audiences with its daring adventures from around the world, through time and back again. Let the Navigator from Folk Tales for Fun take you on a magnificent tour of Germany, Egypt, Turkey, Liberia and more with entertaining, universal folk tales both new and familiar to children. Performed by primary and middle school students, intended for primary-middle school children and their families. Dakota Stage Ltd. will hold its run of Shade Tree Player?s Folk Tales for Fun at the Frances Leach High Prairie Arts & Science Complex located at 1810 Schafer St. in Bismarck. Performances are at 7pm, Thursdays through Saturdays, July 9-11 and 16-18. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students, seniors and military and may be purchased at the door on the day of the show. Doors open at 6pm and no advance reservations are available.
