Central Dakota Children's Choir presents Crescendo of Care - A Celebration of Children's Voices!

Central Dakota Children’s Choir Presents “Crescendo of Care – A Celebration of Children’s Voices” Join Central Dakota Children’s Choir in a weeklong celebration of the 25th Anniversary of CDCC! “Crescendo of Care—A Celebration of Children’s Voices!” is your chance to show your support for enterprising youth in our community.

The celebration includes an online silent auction, cash raffle, senior recognition dinner, singer stories and much more. There will be an Open House on November 14th from 5:00 – 6:30 pm at the Bismarck Event Center featuring performances by Bel Canto (5th and 6th grade choir) and Angelica (all-women’s choir). Join us for coffee and cake, instant winner games, singer stories and the chance to view our silent auction items.

The weeklong event concludes on Sunday, November 20th with choir performances by all 5 choirs at the Kirkwood Mall, near JC Penney, from 1:00pm-3:30pm. Performances are free and open to the public.

“Over 2,500 children have participated in our program since we began in 1998,” says Tammy Rector, executive director and past choir parent. “We’re honoring this milestone by focusing on the many benefits of choral education. Each of our singers has a unique musical journey and it’s truly inspiring to hear how choir has impacted their lives. We wouldn’t exist without the support of our community, and we want people to see the amazing impact of their giving. Their support truly is life-changing and makes a world of difference for these kids.”

Proceeds from this fundraising event benefit Central Dakota Children's Choir and their mission to inspire tomorrow’s voices—fostering friendships, enriching lives and serving the community. Formed in 1998, Central Dakota Children’s Choir has grown from one choir of 65 students to five choirs, a pre-choir, a music class for 1st graders and, new this year, an alumni ensemble. We currently serve nearly 300 children in grades 1 - 12 from 46 public, private, and homeschools. To date, the choirs have performed for more than 190,000 people in the tri-state area and have been invited to perform at many local, state, and regional events. The choirs are directed by Teri Fay, Dawn Hagerott, James McMahon, and Michael Seil and accompanied by Carol Huck and Beth Weiss.
