Auditions for The 39 Steps Directed by Dan Rogers

The 39 Steps is a clever, funny, and highly theatrical version of the classic Hitchcock film. We are searching for four actors skilled in physical comedy and dialects who can create a wide variety of roles at break-neck speed. We will be holding open auditions on Sunday, August 9, 2015 by advance appointment ? call or email for a time (701-258-4998, artdir@dakotastageltd.com) ¬and to receive audition sides from the show. Invited call backs will be on Tuesday, August 11. We will be casting 3 adult males and 1 adult female. A full rehearsal calendar will be available for viewing during the auditions. The following roles will be cast: Richard Hannay ? a dashing young rogue with a serious case of mistaken identity Annabella Schmidt/Pamela/Margaret ? an intriguing ingénue with a flair for the dramatic (multiple roles) Man 1 & Man 2 ? ?the clowns? who play dozens upon dozens of critical comedic characters AUDITIONS ?
