Jexton Emter, a Glen Ullin infant who was born with a coarctation and a VSD of the heart as well as a bilateral cleft lip and palette.
Additional info: At 3 days old he was airlifted to Minneapolis from Bismarck to under go heart surgery. He spent 4 weeks at amplatz hospital in Minneapolis. Recently he was fitted with a device to begin the process or correcting his lip and palette. Jexton has to make trip to MN every other week to have the device altered in order to optimize the results. He will under go the first of many corrective surgeries on his mouth August 21.
